The Electrical Technology program is offered at our York campus. During this 9-month program, students receive training in construction site safety, OSHA requirements, National Electrical Code standards and practices, proper tool use and care, interpretation of electrical blueprints/plans, job specification and pricing, installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electrical service panels, wiring and fixtures, installation of coaxial, telephone and data cabling, ladder logic, PLCs, customer service, math and algebra skills for the trades, and basic small business practices.

The Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology program is a 12-month program, where students receive training in Maintenance and Service of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems, Basic Electricity, Commercial Refrigeration Systems, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Troubleshooting, Basic Blueprint Reading, Heating Systems Theory, Maintenance, and Service of Heating Systems and Fundamentals of Air Filtration and Humidification.

YTI offers a Dental Assisting program at our York, Lancaster, and Altoona campuses. During this 9-month program, students learn anatomy and physiology of the head and neck, take and develop manual x-rays, take digital x-rays, assist the dentist with dental procedures, manage the front of a dental office, provide patient education, mix dental materials and manage inventory and ordering of supplies.

Depending on the office size and specialty, a Medical Assistant could be handling both administrative and clinical duties. For some, front office work like, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, completing medical records and billing, can be a preferred aspect of the job. Others may choose to focus more on the hands-on aspect of patient care like recording vital signs, preparing patients for examination and basic lab procedures.

Upon successfully completing the Diesel Technician program, students will develop essential skills in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, brake systems, drivetrains, and electronics. Through hands-on training, they will learn to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, inspect and adjust both air and hydraulic brake systems, and address issues with transmissions, differentials, and axles. The program will also emphasize electronics diagnostics, preparing students to work with modern vehicle electrical systems, including sensors and control units.
