School Highlights
Rooted in the trucking industry, driven by one mission.
Kinos CDL Academy has spent years in the trucking industry with one focus: helping commercial drivers build meaningful careers. When 2022 brought new CDL regulations requiring formal professional training, the school saw an opportunity to go all in. The demand for qualified instruction was growing fast, and Kinos was ready to meet it.
Why Kinos CDL Academy? The name "Kinos" is more than a brand — it's personal. Founder Michael Rangel earned the nickname from his godson, who as a young child couldn't quite pronounce the Spanish word for godfather, padrino. "Kinos" was the closest he could get, and it stuck. Today, that name reflects the relationships at the heart of everything the school does.
By 2024, growing enrollment made expansion the next logical step. Kinos opened its own on-site testing center, giving students everything needed to earn a CDL in one place — expert instructors and a certified testing facility, all under one roof.
In it for the long haul Kinos CDL Academy is built on lasting relationships, not quick transactions. From the first day of training through landing a job, students have a team in their corner. Long after earning a CDL, the Kinos staff remains just a call, text, or email away.
Training that fits your life Every student's path looks different, and Kinos embraces that. Whether a student needs a Spanish-speaking instructor, a flexible schedule, or something else entirely, the school works around individual needs — not the other way around. Every student is treated as a person, not a number.
Real expertise, every step of the way From Class A and Class B licensing to Hazmat endorsements, skills refreshers, and online coursework, Kinos CDL Academy's certified instructors are equipped to meet students wherever they are in their CDL journey — bringing deep industry knowledge and a genuine commitment to long-term career success.
