Special & Gifted Education Highlights
Special Education programs provide specialized training in teaching methods, behavioral strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. These programs prepare students to work with children and adults who have disabilities, learning differences, or other special needs. Through coursework in developmental psychology, instructional techniques, and classroom management, students learn to create inclusive and supportive learning environments. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers as special education teachers, instructional coordinators, or education advocates, making a significant impact in schools and community programs.
